Like structural glazing tapes, our PVC foam tapes are crafted for applications that need a highly compressible foam to create effective seals on uneven surfaces. They flex and adapt to fit tight radius curves. Capital Tape’s PVC foam tapes have a low density of 6-8 lbs. per cubic foot.
Equipped with a white paper liner, these tapes are ideal for weather-stripping and various other uses. They are available in both standard and custom cut widths.
Our PVC foam tapes offer inherent resistance to fire, UV rays, and a wide range of chemicals, acids, and solvents. When compressed by 30% or more, they effectively seal out air, moisture, light, and dust. These tapes combine flexibility and conformability with enhanced strength and durability.
PVC foam serves as a cost-effective alternative to polyurethane foam for gasket and sealing applications.
Standard or Non-Standard Cut Low-Density Foam Tapes
Available in black or gray
Our low-density foam tapes are resistant to fire, UV rays, and most chemicals, acids, and solvents. A compression of 30% or greater will fully seal out air, moisture, light, and the finest of dust. These PVC foam tapes are ultra-flexible, and ultra-conformable— a very cost-effective substitute for polyurethane foam substrates within gasket and sealing applications.
These tapes not only exceed fire-rating standards, they also offer top resistance to weather, fungi, and oxidation.
