Muntin bars or Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) bars are window grids separating and holding panes of glass in a window. They’re used in the glazing industry to bring the finishing touches to a project. They are typically used solely for design purposes and to help increase the aesthetics of a project. 

Muntin bars are typically made of wood or metal. Many are applied with only our Ultra-High Bond (UHB) and because of the tape’s advanced adhesives, no structural silicone is needed. This allows for a clean, precise, long-lasting application of muntin bar detailing, making the application quick and easy.
