CT1010 Tape: Medium Density Swirl-Free PVC Foam Tape
The CT1010 tape is made of a special foam that allows it to be completely distortion- or swirl-free and it will not tear when drilled into or when mechanical fasteners like screws and rivets are driven through it. The medium-density PVC foam cells compress and conform to the fastener, keeping a tight seal.
- Swirl-free/warp-free: It won’t crack, twist, or distort when penetrated by fasteners
- 30% compression, single side adhesive
- Medium force compression, positive seal
- Flame resistant under FMVSS 302
- Seals out light, water, and dust, ideal for mechanical and electronic assemblies
- Allows for easy die-cutting
- Conforms to curved/irregular surfaces
- Paper liner with easy removal prevents install stretching
- Ideal applications: Recreational and off-road vehicles, vehicle overlap and truck roofline seals, die-cut gaskets, modular walls, railroad cars, marine, outdoor lighting fixtures and metal farm buildings, corrugated panel seals, lap joints
