FMVSS 302A
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302; Flammability of interior materials. U.S. Regulations for 49 CFR § 571.30 as amended on October 1, 2022. FMVSS 302 is used to determine burn resistance capabilities of interior automotive materials, a test performed on materials in passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, buses, and recreational vehicles.
Capital Tape’s closed-cell PVC foam tapes are self-extinguishing and meet FMVSS 302A.

These premium PVC foam tapes restrict air, dirt and debris, fungi, flame, and moisture, providing the positive seal required of trailer manufacturing tapes.
CT610 Low-Density Trailer PVC Foam Tape
The CT610 PVC foam trailer tape is a closed-cell, low-density tape that seals out the elements and provides and extra-long seal life.

- Low force compression, positive seal
- Flame resistant under FMVSS 302
- Cold resistant, will not crack
- High flexibility for sealing corners & curves
- Excellent resistance to weather, fungi, and oxidation
CT1010 Medium-Density Swirl-Free PVC Foam Tape
The CT1010 is a medium-density tape that will not twist, warp, distort, or crack when penetrated by fasteners.

- 30% compression, single side adhesive
- Medium force compression, positive seal
- Flame resistant under FMVSS 302
- Seals out light, water, and dust
- Allows for easy die-cutting
- Conforms to curved/irregular surfaces
- Paper liner with easy removal prevents install stretching
